Geranium Phaeum

Geranium phaeum is commonly known as Dusky Cranesbill, Mourning Widow and Black Widow.

This wild geranium plant belongs to the genus Geranium (Cranesbills). Geraniums, Pelargoniums (scented geraniums) and Erodiums are members of the Geraniaceae family.

Geranium phaeum is a herbaceous perennial plant that is native to southern, western and central Europe. The wild plants grow in prealpine regions.
