Rhododendron Flowers – Flowers of the Month of May!

Ok, this one just has to make it on this monthly list. Around here, these bushes open their blossoms in May and shine in a wide colour range!

I was very lucky this year, because I had the chance to visit a rhododendron garden (Seleger Moor, Switzerland) just at the right time!

That was an awesome day! There were so many rhododendron plants and other plants and flowers to look and to marvel at! I definitely filled my camera with countless pictures; I just couldn’t stop (thanks to all those people that invented the digital camera!!). I am even thinking of creating a video of that day and share those magnificent impressions….

The bumblebees were having a great time as well! Boy, was it hard to catch them on the camera! I guess the pictures show good proof of this…

And other insects, like bees, wasps and flower chafers, enjoyed the flowers as well:
